Adhesion Reduction and Prevention Strategies in Gynecologic Surgery

Overview

This course will help clinicians identify the origin and causes of adhesion formation as well as the patient outcomes of not using adhesion prevention techniques in gynecological surgery. It will discuss current standards of care, adhesion prevention strategies and reduction techniques (site specific and non-site specific). Demonstrate efficacy of adhesion reduction strategies through clinical case study experiences as supported by evidence-based medical studies in the literature.
